Welcoming Ayman!

I know its a bit late! But better late than never.

Nazia delivered a healthy boy baby on March 6th at 1.23PM Indian Standard Time at Apollo First Med, Chennai.

The baby was weighing 3.10 Kgs at the time of delivery.

This time around, the delivery of the new baby was less dramatic compared to Ahyaan's delivery.

I guess we were experienced and we did know what to expect. Nazia really was prepared this time around. The doctor suggested that we go for a C-Section as the chances of a normal delivery were not high.

So it was planned and I got Nazia admitted on a Saturday (March 6th, 2010). In fact, I left Nazia alone in the hospital and had not returned until an hour before the operation.

Now, it was not my intention to leave Nazia alone. Lot of things were different this time around. We had Ahyaan with us. He was the center of our world and all our love and affection was towards him.

We were really worried about hinting Ahyaan that were going to spend a good deal of our time towards Ayman. So we had decided that I will spend a good deal of my time, during and after the delivery with Ahyaan, while Nazia will take care of Ayman.

So, coming back to the delivery, I came back with my Mom and my in-laws in the noon just before the operation.

I did experience the same kind of anxiety when Nazia entered the operation theater, as I had noticed during Ahyaan's delivery. But I was a bit more relaxed and I was really confident that things will be fine.

After few minutes, the sister came outside carry Ayman. It was a happy moment for all of us and especially for me and Nazia. Parents of two boys (two naughty boys.. our guess).

What was different in Ayman's case was that, I saw him immediately after the operation, unlike Ahyaan where they took him directly to the neo natal ward.

Also, Ayman was really looking like a new baby. Ahyaan wasn't looking the same, he was looking a bit mature.

By God's grace, everything went fine and has been fine until now.

We name our second baby "Syed Ayman". Ayman meaning Lucky.

We now have two stars in our world - Ahyaan and Ayman. We have plenty of fun-filled and happy moments ahead of us. Nazia and I are really looking forward to it :)
